What the heck is this Mother on? Her and her husband have 10 kids. Mom relies only on the older kids to babysit, because Dad is an alcoholic and she can’t trust him alone with the kids, plus she thinks having 2 more kids is a good idea! Hmmm…. Something doesn’t add up here!  Why in the world would anyone want more chaos in a house where there is so many problems. I actually just think this woman was either mentally ill, or just incredibly selfish. Her older three children were already acting like parents, and all she was worried about was the number 12 and getting to say she has a dozen kids. Talk about baby machine…. How about taking care of the kids you have first. Yes mom, that means letting the older kids have a life of their own and not be parents at this point.

I will say that I thought with Jo’s help, the parents were open to looking at and fixing some of their problems. By the end of the episode I was really impressed that the Dad went to an AA meeting and the oldest son/babysitter got to go out on a normal teenage date with a girl (he is 15 btw). I just hope Mom can realize two more kids would only add stress and possibly ruin her family.

A dozen eggs = Good.

A dozen Costello kids = Disaster!
